Up for a cupcake?

I've decided!
I am gonna dedicate this month as a 'home cooked' food month!
I am very proud of myself cos I've burned my fingers while cooking baked rice!
Meaning I am a pro now!

Well, before this crazy food thing occurred,
the proudest dish I've ever presented was Instant pasta cooked with Sin Ling.
Cos I did it once before, and the instant stuff provided was in powder form.
I didn't knew it was supposed to be cooked until the all the water is absorbed by the pasta.
Being the genius that I was, I put hot water in it and treated the whole thing as a mushroom soup!
Minus the part that the pasta was hard and salty,
I successfully became an innovative chef!

Pasta by me & Sin Ling.

Guess what I've made?

This!

I am such a great chef right?

Not much. Haha, this was dessert offered in double tree.

Really posh hotel, unfortunately not the food.

Introducing you the atas

Mum's birthday cake.

Yeah I made it, so nice right?

Aiyah If you really believe it then it would be funny!

Brownies.

I am pretty sure it looks like a chocolate cake though.

Hey, meaning you expect my cooking to be noob-ish?

Brownies again.

First taster of the day - dad.

Brownies that are hot are best served with - ice cream!

Overall to me it was fantabulous. I truly enjoyed every moment baking brownies!
I give myself a rating of 10 over 5!
Even though my dad just gave a 3.5 rating.

Oh well. :(

Spaghetti Cabonara for lunch.

Chocolate chip cookie the next 2 days.

p/s: There was apple crumble the next day. Unfortunately the pics are not with me :(

I think this was not much of a success.
I 'accidentally' replaced baking soda with baking powder.
Didn't know why the cookie seemed to be so soft. Like muffin almost.
So I was not really happy about it.
Thankfully, I reduced the amount of sugar used.
Even so, it was still sweet!

Cookies in a tupperware.

Baked rice.

It was quite tedious (Cos I was used to baking with my sister)
Got really frustrated defrosting the chicken!
It was really raw and unsightly.
And super hard to butcher!

Alas, instant crab stick was what I added as the only meat component in the baked rice.
Other ingredients were broccoli and carrot. A lot of them!

I took the pic via my phone when the thing is in the oven.
Freaking 200c, I didn't dare to take it out with my hands.

Phobia cos was burned when removing rice from cooker :(

Served.

I know the pictures are kinda sucky cos I didn't have the camera with me :(
Mum took it to Taiwan.

Anyways Baked rice was not really tasty cos I put too little salt.

More updates to come!
