My gosh... how fast time flies!

And I am surprised on how 'updated' my blog is... lol!

It has been monthsss since I've updated :(. I guess laziness does takes it toll.

Reflecting on 2011, I think I was really blessed that year! Many great things happened... even though I've went through tough times.

(A very long elaboration shall be posted after this)

This was also my first time dining in such a posh restaurant. Rm200 per person for this buffet. Apart from the seafood jelly, everything was awesome. Too much of food that I can't try all of them. Especially the desserts! I want to cry nao :(

Thank you God for such a fulfilling trip! I've never eaten so much in a trip before. Apart from the pics I posted, I still have more food pics. Sigh... dunno how to blog all of it.

I know it has been a freaking long ago trip. Almost 2 months ago.

I have been really lazy uploading the pics to the computer :(

There were high rise building everywhere!

For some reason it felt like I was in Australia.

The only thing was, Singapore is much hotter!

But the signboards were all in English. The roads were much wider..

And Australia did not have so many high rise buildings.

We stayed at my cousin's place at Novena square.

Super near to malls and the train station.

Even though her apartment was small, but it was nice & cozy.

Plus super interesting stuff in her house :)

I don't usually buy any hair care products. But since I bleached my hair, I had to take extra care of it!

This is the first time blogging in uni, using their pc.
Lol I feel like I am committing a crime right now, cos everyone seems to be studying ...
And ... they actually block other 'entertainment' pages. I can log into facebook but I cannot play sims social :(
And I cannot use the 'God wants you to know' app. :(

But ... I just realized that the other e-lab allows it!!
Wohoo. My friend was searching for into the other day ... and I was happily playing Sims social.
I am the naughtiest amongst my friends. Hahaha!
I very lazy one. I am always doing something that I am not supposed to do :)

I guess I am gonna blog now because I am lazy to do it at home.

As all of you have already known - I've passed my theory ABRSM Grade 8 theory!

I didn't write what theory I was taking on my status because I don't want to flaunt my music ability. I very humble one ok!

And not a lot of people know my blog exists!

Cos a girl actually asked me what theory exam I was taking. Haha!

Anyway, this achievement that I have is something that I've never experienced before.

In the past, even though I've great results I've expected it to happen.

And after my downfall in college ... I've never expected success on my part. Because I have too many disappointments. Again and again ... even in uni.

When I was working on this, I had only 6 months to prepare. And I've forgotten EVERYTHING.

Like everything. I didn't touch the piano for 2 years. That amount of time is enough to make your skills rusty O.O

I failed the first time. At that time I had more time, I had done more exercises.

But this time I didn't spend a lot of time, even my teacher don't have the time to review my questions ==.

I remembered the last night when I was so unprepared ... I was praying and praying.. I asked God I wanted to pass ... but in my heart I was certain that it was impossible.

I wanted to convince myself, I even asked people for encouragement... but I still had doubts at that time.

I only did 4 past year papers. Which was very few as compared to other people.

People usually work on at least 6 -7 papers to pass. And you have to practice and practice and practice ...

My faith level on this was very low since the beginning. I only had 6 months! And I have to work, I have uni and everything ... I really had no time.

I have to stay back after class to make sure I finish one part of the test paper ... even one section took me hours to finish. 3 hours for the test was not enough! Even during the exam ... I didn't have enough time :(

I still remembered during exam day, I was so reluctant to sit for the exam. Because I was certain I would fail.

I was praying ... but I still didn't believe.

When I was working on the questions ... my goodness ... I took so long to do one section and I didn't have enough time!

I was super panic.

Plus, there was this part (composing section) I used the wrong key!!

I was deciding between E flat and E major. I can still recall how indecisive I was. It was so scary.

When I exited the exam hall ... I prayed in my heart I was determined. I told God, don't make me pass. Because I don't deserve it ... I didn't put effort, I didn't understood what I was doing.
I told God I was willing to resit. Even though I have to take classes again ...

I referred to my teacher about the key thing. She said I used the wrong key.

At that time, I thought it was a confirmation from God. That I will fail ...

Wrong key at that part, the whole thing 0. It was that serious!

After that day, I didn't even pray for my results. I was certain that I will get very terrible marks. Like 40 or something.

Then yesterday my aunt texted (which is my teacher) me...

She said ...

You passed theory with 73 marks.

I was like ... ??????

I thought I was dreaming or what, I cannot believe what I saw.

It was so surreal.

Unfortunately no tears came out for added dramatic effect, because I was too shocked!

I can't believe I scored higher than my first trial, which was 62 I think? The passing mark is 66.
I had more time that time compared to now ... I was better at everything during that time!

And I didn't barely passed, I passed my 7 marks!

Omg how to terpesong and score so high? Tell me how?

Like one section 0. Omg ... I don't know what to say hahaha!

It was just unbelievable. It was dawning on me, and I don't even know how to sink it in.

Only God can make this possible. Cos I don't think with my own logic all this thing can happen :)

The entire process was really rocky, I didn't had faith in myself, but God had faith in me.

God always had faith in me.

Thank you so much ... I don't know what I do to deserve this ... (Omg feel like to cry now).

That's how much God loves me. I always doubted Him, but he never doubted me ...

Look, faith is beyond reason. It is beyond logic ... And the hardest thing to do at times is having faith.

The moment of waiting, the moment of anxiety... The devil will always try to pull us down. Will always give us negativity ... will always think we cannot do it.

I am speaking this out of personal experience. I am still not very good at having faith ... because I am still a work in progress. We all are.

Thus I hope anyone who comes across this, remember to have faith! Not only in God, but also in yourself. Believe and trust ... ultimately in Him! And He will give you rest.

This post is not to boast about how good I am. And 73 isn't a very high score anyway.

But is to testify that impossible things could be made possible!

I had gone through so much, I bet none of you had any idea how negative I was. I didn't believe in anything.

And of course, how can I do it without God!!

Just gonna post a very short post today before the muse runs out.

I went to a field trip today at IJN (Institute Jantung Negara).

Unlike most field trips, this time I had the chance to be 'special' and explore the unknown world ...

Okay, enough of aggregating.

I had the opportunity to access 'staff only' facilities, like wards, and of course the kitchen!

Before I head to that part, me and my classmates were briefed about various career prospects in the field of dietetics.

The chief of the department shared about her experiences. And told us how she got involved in different fields, etc etc.

One day, she was tested on a teaching degree in MAHSA university.

In order to pass, she had to fulfill a lot of criteria .. and it was pretty easy to fail at that time.

It seemed that MAHSA had the 'best' attitude students. Lol.

So then, she had to spur the student (As part of the requirement).

She instructed the nursing students to stand to their feet. Touch their eyebrows, ears, their hands...

Are there 5 fingers on each hand? 5 toes on each leg?

Is your heart pumping?

And of course you would be wondering, why are you asking me to do this?

It was exactly what the students questioned.

And she said,

You should thank your mum.

Thank your mum for not smoking. Thank your mum for not drinking.

Almost a quarter of newborns in the world are suffering from birth defects..

Today, I am going to teach you about healthy pregnancy. (Or something like that cannot remember but it was about pregnancy)

You may not be able to feel the dynamic of these words...

But I was so in awe about those words she said.

Really touching.

She was more than just a dietitian.

With her talent, she would have done something else and earn the big bucks.

She said,

'If I were asked to change my job for 5 million, I will not do it. Because being a dietitian is my life, and I love doing what I do.'

I was so amazed.

Thank you Lord for this field trip.

I am so inspired by her, I hope I can work there in the future. lol :)

I've put so much of effort in the things I've done.

My studies, my assignments, my reports ...

Nobody knows how much of sweat and blood I've put in...

So many things are pouring unto me that I just can't handle it.

Uni has been so hectic lately, I have test every week, reports etc etc.

Every time when I do something, I can never get the best results of that thing.

Just like my exams, even in college ... I spent so much time, so much prayers ... but why?

Just found out that my English assignment video was really low.

I never gotten so low for English :(

I thought I can start all over in this new chapter in life ... but the failure keeps on coming.

With all things dawning on me, I just don't know what to do.

I am sick of being sad.

God please help me.

I know this post is really long overdue.

Like, really really really long.

Actually, it is around a month to be exact!

So many things happened this past three weeks.

I don't even know how to start ... lol

I have tonnes of pictures in my camera. But I am too lazy to upload it on picasa or facebook.

When people ask me how was university, I can't really answer.

Because too many things happened. Haha, it is really hard for me to express all of it in just a few sentences.

But overall, I guess I am happy that I am here.

Even though it is too early to tell, but I am fitting in.... I hope. Haha.

I came in expecting nothing .... and certain things exceeded my expectations.

As I have mentioned in my previous post, I really didn't want to enter uni.

I didn't want to wake early, I didn't want to sit for tests, I didn't want any assignments, I didn't want to wear formal wear everyday... I was so comfortable with my 'lazy' life.

I was so comfortable in the past.

I had a decent job, a good manager, good friends, good family, plenty of time.

I was unwilling to walk through the new chapter of life.

Today,

I am looking forward to everything I resented in the past.

Formal wear is quite cool in a way. Hahahaha!!

I can drive to university .. even though it is troubling at times.

Despite having several 'hit and run' experiences (Not that I want to bang the car, the car parked so inconsiderately in a narrow road), dashing red light and possible accidents....

THANK GOD I AM ALIVE!!!

Seriously... countless times my life could be taken away!!

Thank God seriously .. for protecting me and keeping me safe :)

I believe what really made me feared university was due to my college year.

My college year was nightmare beyond all nightmares...

It affected me so much that I didn't want to be involved in anything academic at all.

Moving on was so difficult.

But today,

I want to glorify God and thank God for everything that I have till this day.

Despite going through tough times, He never fails to amaze me with His faithfulness.

Even though I don't pray, I don't read the bible... I sinned a lot... I judged a lot ... I was messed up like trash...

He still loves me, he still protects me, he still provide and answer my prayers.

No words could express how thankful I am ... and I know I can never replace my sins with anything in this world...

Yet He stills accepts me, and he guided me through everything.

Thank you :) I love you. Sorry that I cannot love you like how you love me, but I will try.

Thank you Jesus - my saviour, my friend, my brother, my secret keeper.

Like seriously, I didn't notice I've been abandoning my blog for more than a month.

I noticed I've been using this == a lot lately. I think it is an addictive sign, == == ==.

Sorry for the digress, but time passes in a flash!

2 and a half months I started work .. and now it's over.

To be honest, I really missed work.

Haha! I actually liked something that many people didn't enjoy doing.

Maybe I haven't sunk into the 'tough' part yet.

First and foremost, I really want to thank God for this experience.

I went in a few shops for interview ... but only this shop called back for vacancy.

I am actually thankful for that, because I would not need to answer anything if other shops called.

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.

I remembered my first day, I struggled with the pc...

Really noob with the cashier since it was my first time.

Talked really fast too... and I get nervous very easily.

I still remembered the time when the customer asked me about my hands.

What lotion I used and why are they so cold?

Lol super funny. My hands will be cold when I am serving a big potential customer.

Or maybe just jittery that day lol.

And my canto improved a lot ok! Even though I get teased a lot not being a KL girl.

Many a time I had to speak in chinese halfway after uttering in canto.

Sometimes even english. Cos it is so hard to pronounce certain things.

And, most paiseh thing was, I mixed up chinese with malay lol.

When I saw this chinese person, I spoke malay.

Super paiseh ok! They will be like ... erm I am not malay hahaha.

And some chinese super tan look like malay. Then I speak malay hahaha.

Best is to speak english. Enough said.

Despite of awkward moments, there were dreaded moments too.

When customers get really picky and start !@#$#$%^ a lot.

Some really insult our products and say that's really ugly.

Some insisted on refunds on a really tiny scratch.

And! When you lose stuff ... you gotta pay!

Not no mention I screwed the cashier many times. Hehe.

All in all, everything has a price to pay.

But, I am willing to turn back time and start all over again.

Seriously, I am really thankful that God has given me this job!

Because I have an awesome manager that treats me yummy food every now and then :)

If you are stuck in a long break, I suggest working elsewhere (not under your parents shell) is really enriching.

I used to work with my dad in his clinic. It was really comfortable, but I am protected all the time.

At least this time I had to be responsible of my own actions. When you messed up, you have to clean your own mess.

You work for every penny you own, so I guess it's really fulfilling.

What an agony!

Wisdom tooth has finally take its toll on me!

I remembered stumbling on someone's fb status saying that he had wisdom tooth.

I was like, ok wisdom tooth, no biggie. Since it was useless anyway, I didn't see the harm of having one?

And now, I have to take my words back.

Not only they are useless, but extremely irritating.

In the beginning when it started to grow, the pain was tolerable. I could eat and chew properly.

But now, I don't know what caused my lower left gum to swell like a volleyball. Upper gums had wisdom tooth already, bottom one sprouting just a little bit.

I ate bread at work today. Accidentally chewed using my left gum.

O.M.G. Freaking painful! It was painful when I chewed on it, but the aftermath was far worse.

It aches like !@#$%^&!!! Indescribable.

It lasted for 10 minutes. I struggled so hard to talk and drink water... moreover, I cannot close my mouth completely. Imagine being a fish for 10 minutes, no joke.

Till now, even with my mouth closed, my upper and lower rows of teeth cannot clench because my gums swelled like a freaking volleyball. I think some sort of infection came with it when my wisdom tooth grew. Ughhhh!!

Wikipedia claimed that 35% of the population did not have wisdom tooth at all. Why can't I be fit to be the lucky 35%? But, when wisdom tooth grow at a later age, the pain would be worse. I had a friend that developed wisdom tooth at age 28. O.O

Anyway, if I get any thinner I would blame my tooth. I can't eat! Consuming porridge is like heaven. It never tasted so good!

But .... I don't wanna eat porridge 24/7... Sob sob. I am crying now, literally. I can't ask a western restaurant to cook a chicken chop porridge for me even though I would love to have one :(

I don't want to live eating porridge for the rest of my life! *dies*

Please please God take the pain away because it is killing me!!!

Recently I did a full review on a lipstick I really liked ( Rimmel's lasting finish in undressed), and blogger decided to have maintainance!

Ughhhhshss!!! It is really frustrating! They deleted my entire post ... :(

I spent so much time typing, doing research, taking photos .. and see what they did!

On the other hand, I noticed that blogger.com has been behaving weirdly. It refreshed at slug speed and I cannot compose a decent post. I cannot edit, and the edit html thingy kept popping up.

That's why I am super frustrated. All my efforts were wasted... and I really love that lipstick! It was awesome :(.

And, I finally had my Ielts test today! Everything was fine except the writing part B. Ugh. They wanted me to agree or disagree on selfishness & greed in the modern society and we should hold on to traditional values and all that crap. I was like ... what am I going to write about this? Brain jammed.

Yes, I agreed on this statement. But once I started writing ... nonsense came up. I bragged about disputes and corruption. I don't know what I did but it was horrible. There goes my hope to get an A :(.

Spent too much money today. I have no idea what came over me. Spent rm100 on useless cosmetics. Due to my recent haul in Bangkok ... I find shopping malls sick. I have no desire to splurge on clothes like how I used to, I cannot walk for 9 hours in the mall. I never felt bored shopping in the past.

Now, I can only linger around ts and sg wang for 2 hours. After that I feel bored.

I kept buying makeup like crazy, and by this month alone I've spent around rm180 on these stuff... Maybe because sales were up, and I kept buying because there were good deals everywhere!

Etude house had massive sales today. Nail polish for only rm2.95 (rm6.90 normal price), including top and base coats! I grabbed the coats and two colours. One brown and the other pink. Putting on brown nail polish was really weird because it felt so emo on me.

Regretted not buying more ... because it was freaking cheap. Haha.

Bought two orange blushes. Dunno for what ??

That's why having good money management is important, if not you will be as poor as me.

The things I want to say here cannot be fully expressed in words.

Two words, in awe.

The feeling of being basked in love is really something.

Each time your heart flutters in your chest... the overwhelming sensation of peace surrounds you ... that's what I call awesome.

There is no question who gave me this love - Love that will never go unrequited, that will never fade, that will never leave you wanting ...

Oh no ... I thinking I am falling in love with you.

God, what do I do to deserve such love? What do I do to have this privilege?

Let me tell you how awesome he is.

In the past few weeks I've started working. In a shop that sells accessories and bags. All part timers and full timers have their specific targets.

Each time when there is no customers .. when our earning is running low... God always provides.

Especially during weekdays! Most of the time very few shoppers are present. To be frank, sales declined quite a bit this year.

Last Thursday, we need another rm21 to hit the target. I was praying that God will send someone to buy a watch. Praying and praying ... 9.45pm already.

I was like, fine. Maybe God has other plans for the sales today? The supervisior instructed us to close the shop. We'd even pulled the railing halfway, meaning closing already.

I was kind of disappointed that no one came in and bought anything. While I was mopping the floor, suddenly a family came in and tried out hairbands.

The parent bought in a few and the total was rm45.90! Praise God! He granted much more than needed. He was so faithful :)

And so many times, I prayed that I can hit my personal sales target. Most of the time, I reached it. Even though it didn't come through all the time, but I was all the more contented and happy of what I've achieved so far.

On Saturday, total sales perked to a sum exceeding 850. I tell you, God is amazing!! He is so faithful.

If that customer hadn't bought a rm68 watch, if my grandma hadn't come ... none of this was possible.

My supervisior praised me that day. But I said, it wasn't me. It was God! The number of receipt printed was so overwhelming that the clip cannot hold lol. I didn't had the chance to sit... managed to apply eyeliner only on one eye. Haha!

But He was awesome. I kept thinking, why God? Why are you blessing me so much? I sinned, and I did so many terrible things - but why?

Today in service... I cannot stop tearing when I sing. I was so overwhelmed by His love ... and when I wanna praise Him out loud I can't. Because I kept crying.

God's love for each and everyone of us is in such an abundance that your cup will overflow. I know what it means now.

Like literally. I can feel his love pouring out to me, and all I can do was cry. It was so overwhelming.

Again I say, I know I don't deserve this Love. But God is gracious - and He will never stop loving us.

If you are left broken ; not knowing of His love, I pray that you could experience this love like none other.

First off, really want to thank God that I've found a job!!

*Squeals*

I was pretty stressed out about getting a job in the past few weeks. Mainly due to transportation.... Grr. I really hate it when I have to ask around for transport. Those who knew me long enough, I am thick skinned when it comes to 'can fetch me back ah?'

Well, I wanted to work for a while because I had a huge break before uni starts. For the past four months or so I've been enjoying doing nothing. And now, thinking that I'll start work tomorrow feels kinda weird.

Everyday I wake up, cook, clean, sleep, play pc, exercise, sleep. A daily routine like that even, I feel that I don't have enough time. Cos I keep wasting my time, I didn't keep track in more important things like, study for ielts or piano theory exam. zzz.

Ielts is approaching in a month or so ... and theory omg 3 freaking months! So scared and I am still revising grade 7!!!

Really feel like postponing my theory exam. Sigh. But the next time will be next january... like dunno how many months after. Most probably have to relearn again. Never forget what Mr Yap said: Learning something is to forget everything you've learnt, and relearn it again. Right.

Strangely enough .. I find what he said made sense. In the past, when I learnt driving I failed. When I relearn and really forget what the past instructor taught me, I really seriously understand how to drive. (Also implying the fact that the past instructor sucks, and trying to spot me. *vomits*)

The latter is true. No matter how thick skinned I am I would never lie about someone spotting me. This guy really gave me creeps. He asked me out and wanted to sing K with me? What in the world?

He sang Linkin Park and wanted to start a band ==. When I think of him I really want to die.

Back to happy topic, I am glad I've found a job!

Even though it is just rm4 per hour .. but I can earn a little bit and spend my past time more wisely.

I guess God really has His timing for everything.. When I wanted to find a job, my dad suddenly let me drive alone to the bus stop (Like 2 km only). Before this, my parents were very protective when it came to my driving. I passed in Jan.. wow took me four months to convince them.

Although it is just a short distance, but I am really really grateful and thankful that I could go to my workplace via bus. I can't work earlier cos I can't drive, but now I can so ... I am so happy!

But I think the boss want me to be a full time worker. Cos I said I wanted part time .. but she said she will give me a trial run from 10am to 7? That is 9 hours already.

Rm36 in 9 hours. Now I will really spend wisely because money is very hard to earn! In my area, almost all the jobs start with rm4 per hour. And it will rise as you have more experience. Unfortunately, you can't have rm100 per hour even you have worked for 100 years. So yeah.

Thus ... I am really excited! Quite nervous because I've heard many stories about work. A lot of politics also ..

I am working for only two and a half months .. so I hope I'll be fine..

I've decided to have another blog.

Yes, you heard me!

Recently, I've signed up for a gmail account. Automatically, google provided me a new username for blogger.com

That account rotted for quite some time ... and I've thought about what to do with it. Cos each time I have to sign out from my new google account to my old one. And my new one would be all empty and boring.

The thought of shifting also occurred to me. But I don't want to leave this blog behind ... many memories. lol.

I've also thought about having a super secret blog to vent out my feelings when I am feeling ecstatic or deeply troubled. lol

Go lock it and just put there, something like a journal but computerized.

The problem is, I am paranoid of the thought that people might hack into my blog and see. Haha. Not like my secrets carry bomb or what lah. It is just uncomfortable when other people knows what you are thinking. Exposing your secrets, even though discreetly is like ... a stalker. Cos they are a bunch of busybodies.

Even so, it is tempting for me to unleash my thoughts through writing. But then again, being paranoid I don't write them down.

The best thing is to pray!

Tell God everything.

Even my most shameful secret, cos He won't tell anybody :)

Okay, maybe I am not that lifeless after all.

There are a few things that need to be dealt with before the end of the year approaches.

1st : Prepare for IELTS

2nd: Sit for theory gd 8 exam!

The thing is, the 2nd one scares me ...

I've forgotten so many things .. and I am surprised that I am sitting for this test. Lol

Minor melodic and harmonic, key signatures all I've forgotten @.@.

I stopped 3 years ago. Taking it again is like forgetting everything and relearning everything. (What Mr. Yap loves to say).

Well, I hope he is right this time. Cos I am really relearning everything ... and the test is due in August. *Shudders*

I am really scared! * Sobs*

Really unsure about so many things ... considering to postpone my exam too ..

Less than 6 months I have to gear up for the exam .. and I don't have classes every week.

Really hoping that I can do really well this time. I don't want to pass.

I want to get a freaking distinction!

I don't know why I have the burning desire to do so, but I really crave for it so badly that it motivates me whenever I am having piano class.

But! I always forget what my teacher teaches me after a lesson. Oops.

And whenever I wanna do the exercise I can't do because I forget. Oops Oops.

Ugh!! I hope what I am going for is not merely some wishful thinking.

I would like to express my utmost DISSATISFACTION to the manufacturer of REVLON cosmetics.

Never in my life I've met a product with such terrible quality.

I am more than disappointed. I am angry.

I have high expectations for this product, also known as Revlon Color burst lipstick in soft nude.

It is more than just the consistency or the lasting effect. I don't mind if this product has flaws in either department.

But what pisses me off is the quality of this lipstick.

Initially, this lipstick glided easily.

Application wise was not too bad.

Later, I noticed that the lipstick slanted quite a bit.

Edges of the lipstick was scrapped off, sticking to the sides of the lipstick cover.

But still, though heart wrenching - I had hopes for this product.

Putting it in the fridge, wishing that I could save its life.

After tagging it along with me for a function today,

I discovered that more of the product was being scrapped away.

Sadly, I decided to give it a try on my lips ... thinking that it could still be used ...

After a few strokes over my plump lips,

My lipstick broke.

BROKE!!!

Like literally - someone chopped that thing off.

Seriously!!!

When I pressed the lipstick back to its original position,

I can feel my fingers sinking deep into the lipstick.

What an amazing quality!

I've successfully melted a newly bought lipstick!

Not.

I am so disappointed with this product that I would love to kill the person who produced this stuff.

I feel cheated, and money don't come by so easily for me.

I don't ask money from my parents for shopping anymore.

Moreover, I bought this stuff like 4 days ago?

I've learned my lesson to invest on a high end lipstick.

Verdict: Don't buy drugstore lipstick. I will and shall never trust any drugstore lipstick. Period.

Guilty pleasure no.1 - Tutoring

Yeah yeah and all the usuals.

I would love doing something, if possible a solid job for the next few months.

I've been tutoring my cousin, which is much of a blessing cos I really suck at Chinese.

There were times I stumbled on Chinese Vocabulary which I am not familiar with, to be frank, not even knowing what those words meant.

Oh boy.

*Please aunt don't read this post, really despo for money don't fire me*

I would love to teach only Malay but I have to teach everything.

The funny part was messing up her Chinese homework HAHAHA!!!

Cos there were sections that I really don't know what to do, and I had to give her an answer ...

Oh my.

*Please teacher don't mark her wrong and give her zero, please teacher*

I felt bad for not having the credentials or qualifications to tutor.

But I really love teaching! It was so much fun.

Though you will get frustrated when the student don't do what you say.

Guilty pleasures no.2 - Dancing.

Why guilty pleasure?

Dancing in front of the tv is just .... embarrassing ...

Gosh, the best thing is not having mirrors in front of you.

You just mimic whatever the person in the screen is doing.

When you stuck your butt out too much, you don't know.

When you are too slow, but thinking you are in tempo - you don't know.

When you dance in front of everyone, people don't laugh because your dancing is good.

It is because you've successfully made a fool out of yourself.

I really fancy supernatural stuff.

Vampire, shape shifter, Siren and many other that do not exist in this world.

One of my favorite is The Vampire Diaries.

Super awesome TV series, must watch!

But I don't like super gory ones. Yuck.

Eg. True blood.

Never watch it because it is too disturbing.

It is also known as the Kate Daniels series.

The series is plot heavy.

If you love action and bad- a** characters, this series is definitely a must read!

There are four series till date.

Magic bites is the 1st book.

Magic strikes - 3rd book

Magic bleeds - 4th installment.

What really drawn me to read this book is the main character.

Kate may be very arrogant at times and often gets herself into trouble...

But I really love the way she talks - super sarcastic and funny.

She doesn't bimbo around like how many authors love to put it, but she made every sarcasm with reason.

On the other hand, the romance part of the series is very carefully built up.

Which many books failed to do as well.

Sequence of a predictable romance book:

This person is very attractive - I think I like the person - She/he did something wrong - Angry -

made up - get together - I love you - happily ever after - the end.

Makes me very angry whenever I come across books like these.

Everything is plotted out in such a rush, very cliche.

Twilight is a fine example.

But this series is very carefully paced I would say.

Slower than some, but not too draggy.

But it is true!

I mean, it is not like I dislike romance, as in lovey dovey moments ...

I love them if it is put in a more realistic manner.

In this way, the story relates more to real people.

Not Romeo and Juliet.

The relationship between Kate and Curran is definitely what makes me read the book.

I always slip through the pages to read Kate and Curran moments first.

Very spoiler. Tsk.

Curran is muhhccchoo better than Jacob ok.

Much.

Curran is a shape shifter ( Like Jacob), but he is a werelion instead of a werewolf.

In this series, the shape shifters have many forms.

Human, half form and full form.

I don't think revealing too much is wise.

But it has lots of magic, lots of supernatural stuff that I like.

Hehehe.

Each book is getting more and more interesting.

Can't wait for the 5th installment :)

I am not every good at reviewing books but ..

I think this is a very good read.

People like me should read more of these stuff.

Not long ago,

I was a proud grade 8 student that practiced super gangho-ly for my practical exams.

I remembered having Chermaine around, and we would both play the piano for hours.

Literally.

Usually she will come over and display her skills, most of the time presenting fresh new pieces that I've never heard before.

Thanks to her I converted from being a pop genre pianist to a classical one.

Talking about being influential. Tsk.

I remember annoying my neighbor so much that he could sing the songs I play.

He was not good at hearing nor memorizing songs.

He wasn't in anyway music inclined (Sorry for the insult)

But simply because I played the song over and over for 7 days and dunno how many hours.

When he come back from school - Rachmaninoff

When he is having tuition - Rachmaninoff

When he is eating - Rachmaninoff

When he is playing football - Rachmaninoff.

The same freaking song played over and over.

He should have switched on the mp3 and blast his ear off for 24 hours ... and 6 months? Hehe

I was so crazy over Liszt, Rach, Chopin and all those crazy hard songs.

When my tutor came over and introduced me to another song, I would say, this song hard a not ah? Harder than rach? Hard a not huh huh huh!!

Until she got so pissed off at me and she said : "Never mind, you choose on your own then".

Hahaha. Those were the days.

And ... I DETEST DOING THEORY!!

Like seriously ok. Sometimes I get so pissed off being stuck at one Q ... I would erase the date my tutor wrote on the paper. (Meaning no homework)

I successfully made her a smarter, more innovative tutor as she used pen to indicate my homework. Ugh.

Busted. Cannot do how?

Don't do loh. Cannot do loh.

Cannot escape kena marah.

Then I cry.

Then I tell mommy that I WANNA QUIT!!!!

She scolded me like mad.

I will grateful if in anyway she developed high blood pressure.

Because of me you know! So touching ...

I always didn't understand what she taught me.

I just nod my head like the solar doll?

(Btw there is no such thing as a solar doll. But a doll that nod its head all the time. Generated via solar power, idunnowhatitiscalled )

Thus even though how hard I tried doing, I just don't geddit!

I don't look forward for piano classes anymore.

Always complain and dun wanna attend :(

Cut long story short I was only a few points from passing.

Passing 65%, I got 62%.

Ugh 3 freaking marks!!

But I did quite well for practical cos I practice like crazy one.

Hehe.

End of the day I think, it is really your heart that drives you through success.

If your heart lies on what interest you, you will fall deeper in love with it.

You will be willing to find time to do what you love, and work hard to master it.

I love the practical part of piano, I trained and did well.

I didn't like the theory part of piano, I trained and I failed.

The same should apply on what course you take.

Because of my parents and peer pressure I used to strive for what had the big bucks.

Money, get rich, enjoy, full stop.

People nowadays don't look at what truly interests them.

They opt for something that has a promising future.

But how far could this take you?

When it gets tough, can you still hang on?

Some people say why don't I do something more ambitious.

Be dentist la, like your brother and become doctor like your daddy.

I feel quite sad that they ask this kind of question cos they don't understand what truly interest me.

I know that what I am going for - does not have a wide range of job opportunities.

Pilot grads in Malaysia remain jobless for more than 2-3 years.

Because there are insufficient vacancies for these people.

Nutrition and dietetics do not have a very good one as well.

But, I know I have GOD to rely on!

I will pray and be faithful to Him!

I know he will open doors for me ... he will provide..

I will put my trust in Him.

Just believe and be patient.

When everything fails, God doesn't. :)

Thus, I hope that people will search their hearts,

And pursue something that truly interest them.

Because worldly things will fade away...

We headed to Bangkok, the main city in Thailand.

When I mention about city, it is really city-like! Their airport beat Msia's local LCCT flat!

LCCT is literally covered with some zinc material only.

Albeit human in a sardine can.

Except LCCT is 1000x bigger than the normal sardine can.

Plus, it is so hot and stuffy in there!

Even nando's extra spicy peri peri is not as hot as temperature in LCCT.

Thai airport was nearly perfect.

If the escalator did not have this program installed in it, (Whereby a robot woman will keep talking whenever you reached the end of the escalator)

It would be perfect!

The robot woman kept saying : You are reaching towards the end of the escalator, please watch your steps.

Or something like that.

And the robot woman will translate that to Thai.

So annoying!

And there were so many escalators ....

Moving on, we checked in the hotel called Evergreen place.

I didn't know there was a place called evergreen place!

My mum requested for the room she booked previously on the internet.

Oopsie. The room was only meant for two persons.

And there were 4 of us.

The receptionist wanted to charge extra!!

So keterlaluan right!

I don't see why extra people cannot stay inside a room meant for two people.

For extra bed, they charge another additional rm75.

Ugh.

Thus, our family were extra cautious when we go out and in of the room.

Cos the people in evergreen place were very extra one.

But I think they recognized us no matter how much we tried to walk in pairs. Lol.

The food was good. Not great but good.

My favorite was the green curry!

While consuming the curry I could see the reflection of my fats ... but I didn't care cos it was too tasty. Hehe.

Diet plan failed.

Never order anything that you think will be sour.

Cos the mango salad (1st pic from left) made me hate mango.

Super sooourr!

Food from 7 eleven!!

Definitely 100x better than local 7 eleven food.

What you see in Msia is only nasi lemak, nasi goreng and all the cheaplak food.

But their food in 7 eleven is shooperrr good!

Maybe I very biased to Thai food cos cheaper.

P/S: No service charge, not even in malls.

No lah I don't think so cos it is really nice and spicy!

No constipation although spicy food makes you constipate! Good or what?

Never mind 7 eleven, at least your food is better than ...

The pavements in Jatujak was very narrow, get congested easily.

But, platinum was massive too!

Maybe a little smaller than Jatujak, but still it was HUGE.

Took me two days to shop ... but didn't manage walk pass all the shops.

Platinum mall is a great place for shopping clothes.

In the end, there were no stalls (either Jatujak or Platinum) that sells the same clothes.

It is typical to find shops in sg wang or Ts that sells the same clothes.

Even if they do, it is not obvious at all cos there were too many stalls/shops...

This labit year was different from the rest.

Because the weather has a changing heart, and I did not return to my hometown!

It has been years since I have returned ...

But I am grateful to be in KL cos nothing beats home :)

First off, this year CNY I was very sickly.

Chains of sickness occurred to me throughout CNY.

And now, I still have diarrhea :(

But I am really really thankful that God healed me again and again.

I remembered having the worse diarrhea ever ; praying and hoping that God will heal me the next day.

Despite having fever the next day, but feeling better is more than enough.

I contracted conjunctivitis not long ago.

*Gasps*

I know I know it sounded like some kind of weird serious disease XD

Not much of a big deal actually.

Yeah it looked something like that.

But when I looked at this picture I feel like crying!

Because I looked so pitiful lah.

Like kena bashed up by some abusing person!!

I love to rub my eyes.

And I learned the hard way not to rub it anymore.

Thank God it healed after a few hours!

If not I will have red eye and it is very contagious.

Sis dunwana sit with me cos scared she cannot wear contacts anymore.

Hahaha!

But my eyes was bulging and teary!

Having difficulty to see things and neck quite tired.

Cos stereoscopic vision failed. Haha

Lesson 101# Never rub or scratch eyes! If not you will look very pitiful and people will emo when they look at you!

And, I am thankful despite being pitiful.

Because God has blessed me with good angpow, which I really need for savings.

I want to save so that I don't need to burden my parents when I grow up.

I feel so sad for them cos they need to pay up for IMU ridiculous nutrition and dietetic fee.

Also, I have learned to be faithful and give my offerings to the Lord though I am broke sometimes.

Remembered the days I had, worried not having enough to spend for lunch.

Or for the next day cos really broke.

But really have to give even though broke.

I thank God that I did give, and the Lord has been really faithful!!

Thus, when you are faithful and you put your trust in Him,

All the things of the world will grow strangely dim.

Hehe, but I am proud of myself because I am less obsessed compared to last time.

But still, it has always been my passion since I was .... born?

Learning new techniques and checking out on good products are fun too!

Being a cosmetic lover,

Stocking new products are vital, because they allow you to have various looks for different occasions!

Blending and mixing different colours for a look can be pretty exciting too :)

Unfortunately, I am unlike Damon in the vampire diaries.

Because he can compel humans to do whatever he wants.

If I could, I would have all the good eye shadows in the world HAHAHHAA.

Back to reality, it is important to purchase good quality makeup.

Good quality cosmetics produce amazing colour effects, unlike some that are too light or powdery. Plus, your skin will not be a victim of harmful chemicals.

Good quality also come with good price tags.

When it comes to high end cosmetics, a single shadow palette would burn a hole through you wallet.

Sigh, a sad world it is.

The best stuff I have so far is MAC single shadow palette.

Didn't regret after using it for months!

Sadly, I can't be restocking MAC shadow palette for a long run because I don't have much money to spend.

I think cough mixture doesn't taste as bad as it is.

Actually I kind of like drinking it.

But, for some reason I will leave some behind.

And feel disgusted after that.

Honestly, I didn't know what to expect when I registered for YESS 2011.

Because there wasn't many of us that went.

Unlike youth camp, everybody knew one another...

But I have heard many good testimonies from my friends that went the previous year.

This time, I have to fork out quite a bit for YESS. Because not long ago I went to YF 2010.

Being the considerate child, I decided to help my dad for a bit.

This year, 5 people from our church went; including Xan en and Daniel Chong.

There were moments in this camp, I feel like going home.

There were times when I was emo too.

Duno why lah, but sometimes you just feel a bit empty inside. lol.

Like what Kelly said, as girls we tend to feel emo for some unknown reason.

Certain moment in a day sure got emo period one.

All in all, It was a really good experience.

I think, 2010 was like the fastest year ever!

Within 8 months, I finished college.

That year I took my SPM results.

Ish, SPM seemed so last year and long ago already!

To be frank it was not a good year for me.

Really suffered a lot throughout my studies XD.

Understood the word 'emotional attachment'.

Youth camp was awesome!

I still remember those days we had so many meetings.

Planing the games for telematch. Phew.

It may seemed to be easy, but much time was needed to ensure everything goes on smoothly.

A day before camp, I spent the night at Stefanie's to prepare materials required for telematch.
